The Socorro Mockingbird, Mimus graysoni, is endemic to Isla Socorro, a volcanic island in Mexico's Revillagigedos Archipelago, 1000 km from the west coast of Mexico, and about 600 km south of Baja California Sur. The species was until 2005 recognized by ornithologists as Mimodes graysoni.

The Socorro Mockingbird is critically endangered, with a total population of fewer than 400 birds. Conservation efforts are underway to assess the threats to the species, and to manage the surviving population.
